Who’s The Designer Behind Logo Valley?

Hi! I’m Rachel Bowen.

I am a logo designer from Wales (UK) but I currently living in the high jungle of Peru in a small town called Oxapampa. I live with my husband Alex and our two dogs Saffron and Guinness.

My background is illustration and from an early age I knew that I wanted to work in the creative industry. I studied in Swansea Institute of Higher Education where I got my degree in Illustration. After working all kinds of jobs, I realized that I wasn’t fulfilling my work desires and started learning how to design websites with my husband.

From designing websites I learnt the art of designing logos and understanding the skill of branding. This is how logovalley.com was born. A website dedicated to creating logos for startups, small businesses and professionals that want something completely unique and tailored to them.

Each logo that I make starts with deep research and I sketch out rough ideas in pencil on paper. As an illustrator this really helps me visualize ideas before starting to digitize the logo in Adobe Illustrator.

Over the years I have grown as a designer, working on my skills through my passion to create and put beautiful designs out into the world. Every new project is exciting for me and making something that you can be proud of is my promise to you.
